People are always skeptical of Fraternities
and their beliefs are almost always based on stereotypes
given and provided by movies such as "Animal House"
and "Revenge of the Nerds". Well the truth is
that most if not all of these stereotypes are false. You
do not believe in Batman or Godzilla, so why should you
believe others myths that are created by Hollywood.
The true facts are that Fraternity
Men and Sorority Women are at a greater advantage in all
aspects of University life as well as in the workforce.
Fraternity men (believe it or not) have a higher GPA than
those students who do not belong to a fraternity, and a
marked increase versus those who live in residence. There
is also a greater graduation rate in the Greek system versus
those who do not belong to a Fraternity or Sorority. We
also tend to find better paying jobs due to the connections
made and experience gained during our active years in the
Fraternity while attending University
